Rosie O'Donnell is not down with Lindsay Lohan's casting as Elizabeth Taylor in the upcoming Lifetime biopic.
O'Donnell, who appeared as a panelist on the 'Today' show on Tuesday, slammed the actress, saying, 'She's had a lot of trouble doing every single movie, including 'SNL.' She was out and not in rehearsal. I think she's not in a place to work.'

'I feel sorry for her. I think she needs a lot of time away,' offered O'Donnell.
Fellow panelist Donny Deutsch countered, 'She's our generation's Elizabeth Taylor!'
O'Donnell retorted, 'You're out of your mind! You're a crackhead! The last thing she did good she was sixteen.'
The former talk show host added, 'I don't think she's right for the role, and I don't think she's capable at this point to portray that character.'
On Monday, Lohan officially announced she'll be starring in Liz & Dick, which will focus on Taylor's tempestuous relationship with actor and two-time husband Richard Burton.

I don't know anything about Lindsey Lohan but I know that when Rosie opens her big fat obnoxious trap that frogs come out like a plague. Rosie needs to climb back into her cave an hibernate for another decade.

It is an insult to Elizabeth Taylor to have Lohan play her. The casting agent should be fired.

In al fairness, it's for a Lifetime movie. They aren't known to be masterpieces.

You guys don't seem to understand, Taylor was a child actress who had her problems too' multiple marriages, drinking, all sorts of problems' The only difference is back then the media didn't chase around actresses waiting for them to screw up and arresting a celebrity was really really unheard of, especially actresses'. If the Taylor of then was in society now' she would be best friends with Lohan and they would both be getting into trouble'
You guys just do the classic 'Remember Taylor from the last 20 career of her life instead of the first 20'

Why don't we wait for the movie to premiere then make judgments. They obviously thought something if they cast her in it. I'm not gonna judge her because this may be the project she needed to prove she's changed.
