Hotel Transylvania, the animated new release featuring the voices of Adam Sandler and Selena Gomez, is expected to win the weekend box office with approximately $38 million.

The Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis time travel flick Looper should finish in second place at roughly $20 million, according to early estimates.

Meanwhile, last weekend's top trio ' Trouble With The Curve, End of Watch and House at the End of the Street ' should be in a tight race again (this time for third place), with each movie on pace for $7 million or so.

The Finding Nemo re-release, meanwhile, is tracking toward $4 million, edging it past a cappella comedy Pitch Perfect ($3.8 million) for the #6 spot.

Won't Back Down and Resident Evil: Retribution are both expected to hit $2.7 million, slightly ahead of The Master ($2.5 million).

CLAIM: Nicki Minaj & Mariah Carey Clash in American Idol 'Battle of the Divas'

Months before 'American Idol' even premieres its new season, the tabloids are insisting that bad blood between judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj is leading to 'tension' on the hit talent series.

It's a 'Battle of the Divas,' declares Life & Style this week, with the mag reporting that there was 'an uneasy feeling in the air' when the judging panel assembled earlier this month for auditions in New York.

But while Carey and Minaj laughed about the anticipation of a feud, nothing actually got ugly between the two.

That's why Life & Style has to write speculatively that Carey is 'no doubt prepared to butt heads with the rising star.'

'I've known Nicki for a while, and I can tell you 100 percent that she's a diva,' explains an 'insider' for the tabloid. 'I don't know how she's going to get along with Mariah on Idol. I'm guessing she won't.'

In other words, the so-called 'Battle of the Divas' might happen in the future, the tab is 'guessing.'

As the show's host Ryan Seacrest recently pointed out, there are not many 'dull moments' between Carey and Minaj, and some ratings-boosting banter and bickering is expected, but at the end of the day, 'they get along fine.'

Right now, talk of an epic clash between the two superstars is simply 'Idol' gossip.

'Justin Bieber has gone ballistic over his sweetie Selena Gomez's flirty friendship with her Spring Breakers co-star James Franco!' declares the National Enquirer.

The tabloid claims Bieber 'threatened to deck' Franco after seeing pictures of Gomez 'cozying up to him.'

'Justin is steaming at Selena for striking up what he considers an inappropriate relationship with James,' explains a 'source' for the Enquirer. 'But he's directed most of his anger at James.'

The Biebs allegedly got angry after seeing photos from the movie's Venice Film Festival premiere, with the tab's source claiming, 'He called Selena and said that if he'd been there, he would have beaten up James for coming on to her. Selena told him they're just friends and to stop acting like a spoiled child.'

According to the Enquirer's insider, when Bieber came to visit Gomez in Toronto shortly thereafter, it was because he 'wanted to keep an eye on her.'

Bieber's supposed 'jealous rage' has led Gomez to warn him that 'she'll dump him if he throws another temper tantrum like this,' says the mag's source.

We're curious if this is the same Enquirer 'source' who came up with the bogus story about Bieber bottling and selling his own sweat ' because this new story is just as ridiculous.

The outlet has been fixated on Bieber's alleged jealousy over Gomez before, and other tabloids tried floating this Franco nonsense last spring.

The Enquirer is trying to make it even more sensationalistic now by saying Bieber allegedly threatened to beat up Franco ' but adding violence to the premise doesn't make it any more legitimate.

A source close to Bieber tells Gossip Cop the idea that he flew into a 'rage' over Gomez and Franco is laughable and totally 'untrue.'

Kylie Minogue bares her butt in a spoof advertisement for body insurance.

In the black-and-white video (below), the singer is seen sashaying into a room and slowly turning to walk up a staircase ' revealing that her backless gown goes way down.

A voiceover asks, 'Are your assets fully covered? Protect and cover the things that are most dear to you.'

But what looks like a commercial for 'Beautiful Body Insurance of London' is actually part of artist Katerina Jebb's 'Simulacrum & Hyperbole' series.

The actress stars as Sandy Bigelow Patterson, whose credit card spending goes unchecked after she steals the identity of the real Sandy Bigelow Patterson, played by Jason Bateman.

Their worlds collide after a fateful fender-bender, and, needless to say, many hijinks ensue.

Eric Stonestreet, Amanda Peet and T.I. also star in the film, which hits theaters in February.
