Nicki Minaj arrived late to 'American Idol' on Wednesday night, showing up 13 minutes into the live show.
Ryan Seacrest was forced to cover for the singer, sitting in her empty seat on the judges panel and telling the audience, 'I hear she's seven minutes out and there's some congestion on the 405 [highway].'

Minaj showed up after the first act, dressed down in a black hoodie and sunglasses. She did not make mention of her tardiness.
