Ted Stuffs Box Office Competition to Hit #1

The foul-mouthed bear is box office king.

Ted, starring Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis and director Seth MacFarlane as a pot-smoking, dirty-minded stuffed animal, is on pace to win the weekend with a debut of approximately $51 million.

Early estimates put another new release, Channing Tatum's male stripper extravaganza Magic Mike, at #2 with an impressive $43 million.

That should be enough to knock last week's winner, Pixar adventure Brave, to third place at about $35 million.

Madea's Witness Protection, the latest offering from director-star Tyler Perry, is on pace for a very strong $27 million fourth-place debut.

After the Top 4, it's a big drop to holdover Madagascar 3, which should earn roughly $14 million for the #5 spot.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter should do about $6.5 million in business for sixth place.

According to projections, a quartet of movies are closely bunched in the neighborhood of $4 to $5 million: Prometheus, People Like Us, Moonrise Kingdom and Snow White and the Huntsman.

The overall Top 10 order remains to be seen.

Adam Levine and the rest of Maroon 5 took over the 'Today' plaza on Friday for an energetic, crowd-pleasing performance as part of the morning show's summer concert series.

The band, which released its album Overexposed on Tuesday, performed its single 'Payphone,' as well older hits 'Moves Like Jagger' and 'Harder to Breathe.'

Mila Kunis: I 'Love' Internet Dating Sites

Mila Kunis has a confession: She loves online dating sites!

The Ted star makes the admission in Glamour's August issue, revealing that she frequently uses sites like OkCupid ' to set up her friends.

'It's online shopping! We all get together with our laptops and have a glass of wine. Then we message the guy,' she explains.

Kunis confirms there are unsuspecting bachelors out there 'who have had conversations with me on OkCupid, to be exact,' adding, 'They had no clue.'

But would the actress ever put up her own profile?

She tells the magazine, 'If I didn't do what I do, I would do Internet dating instead of going out to bars. In two seconds I would. It makes so much more sense.'

The problem, Kunis says, is that she's 'not in one state long enough.'

'I've never dated,' she insists. 'I can say this honestly: I don't know what it's like to date.'

Is Duchess Kate About to Be Homeless?

Is the Duchess of Cambridge planning to go (temporarily) homeless?

A new report claims Kate will 'sleep rough on the streets of London' as part of a campaign to raise awareness about the city's growing homelessness problem.

According to The Mirror, the Duchess will be following in the footsteps of her husband, Prince William, who took part in a similar 'Sleep Out' experience back in 2009 with the Centrepoint organization.

William's mother, the late Princess Diana, was also a patron of Centrepoint.

But while she's already begun to build an impressive charitable resume in her own right, Kate will not be sleeping in the streets of London anytime soon.

A Buckingham Palace spokesperson tells Gossip Cop, 'That story is incorrect.'

Unlike Diana and William, Kate has no official affiliation with Centrepoint, and we're assured there are 'no plans' for the Duchess to sleep rough in the future.

MAG: Jennifer Lopez Tells Casper Smart to 'Grow Up' Or They'll Break Up

'J.Lo to Casper Smart: Grow Up!' screams a piece from Star, which goes on to claim that Jennifer Lopez 'may finally be realizing that her 25-year-old boy toy might not be the kind of guy you actually get serious with.'

According to the tab, 'Jennifer's getting the sense he's just not mature enough to handle any kind of real responsibilities.'

How come?

The mag says Smart allegedly received yet another speeding ticket (the horror!), has 'outrageous spending habits' (wrong!), and exhibits 'a poor work ethic' (that's why he's helping choreograph her world tour?).

Star's supposed source adds, 'Jennifer is finally listening to the warning calls from her friends and family, who have been telling her all along that Casper is using her.'

And now, reports the mag, Lopez has told Smart to 'reign in his behavior or she'll cut him out of her life completely.'

That's funny because just last week Star was wrongly insisting the pair were 'trying for a baby.'

So, which is it?

A source close to the couple tells Gossip Cop that they are perfectly happy with the way things are, while a rep for Lopez tells us Star's report is simply 'inaccurate.'
