Magazine Pretends Kourtney Kardashian Already Gave Birth

It seems like OK! magazine is up to its old tricks.

Back in April, the tabloid pretended to have a scoop about Jessica Simpson giving birth ' weeks before she actually did.

Now OK! is doing the same thing with Kourtney Kardashian.

The mag's new issue has a giant story her new 'Baby Joy!' with Scott Disick, chock full of language making it seem as though the couple has already welcomed a baby daughter.

'Kourtney and Scott are proud to welcome their little girl into the world,' declares OK!, which cites a so-called 'confidante' talking about how 'in the end,' Kardashian decided against a water birth and 'agreed to have the baby in the hospital.'

An OK! 'insider' says, 'This baby has brought some big changes,' and that Kardashian is 'so thrilled to have a little girl.'

The tabloid says she and Disick 'aren't lonely,' because family members like mom Kris Jenner and sisters Kim and Khloe 'have been visiting.'

It's all very fascinating, and it's exactly the type of misleading article OK! has perfected.

While it's obviously true that Kardashian will be giving birth shortly, she has not yet, despite constant speculation.

When she and Disick welcome their baby, Gossip Cop will have the story.

Until then, expect more misreporting about the Kardashians from OK! magazine.

Angelina Jolie's 'Secret Hotel Hookups' Story is Bait-and-Switch Tabloid Absurdity

This week's National Enquirer cover story looks like the revelation of a giant scandal.

'Angelina Jolie is hiding a secret from fiancé Brad Pitt that's certain to send him off the deep end,' reports the tabloid, breathlessly explaining, 'She secretly rented hotel rooms to hole up with a long-haired badboy!'

In a so-called 'blockbuster exclusive,' the Enquirer claims a man named Jasson Gellerstedt has revealed that Jolie 'slipped out of her house to rendezvous with him on the sly.'

Wow!

As the magazine declares, 'Pals say Brad will explode when he discovers Angie's betrayal.'

Well, of course he will!

After all, Jolie is supposedly sneaking around for 'secret hotel hookups' with Gellerstedt!

There's just one tiny problem.

Jolie and Gellerstedt's alleged meet-ups haven't been taking place during her relationship with Pitt' or even since she was old enough to drive.

Nope, what Gellerstedt actually tells the Enquirer about supposedly happened when he was 14, Jolie was 13, and they were both in EIGHTH GRADE.

We're serious.

The tabloid's latest bait-and-switch masterpiece doesn't have anything to do with Jolie sneaking around on Pitt ' it's really about Jolie and Gellerstedt and a bunch of friends sneaking around on their parents more than 20 years ago.

Unbelievable.

So why, exactly, will Pitt 'explode' when he finds out?

The Enquirer quotes a 'source' who explains that Pitt and Jolie had a conversation early in their relationship 'about everyone who could come forward and put them in a bad light, but Jasson's name never came up.'

Maybe that's because he played no role in Jolie's life whatsoever?

Even for the Enquirer, this is ridiculous ' and that's saying something.

A source close to the couple tells Gossip Cop the claim that Gellerstedt's non-story made Pitt upset in any way is 'total nonsense.'

Maybe next week the Enquirer can find some random kindergarten classmate who once shared wooden blocks with Jolie?

Ted Stuffs Box Office Competition to Hit #1

The foul-mouthed bear is box office king.

Ted, starring Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis and director Seth MacFarlane as a pot-smoking, dirty-minded stuffed animal, is on pace to win the weekend with a debut of approximately $51 million.

Early estimates put another new release, Channing Tatum's male stripper extravaganza Magic Mike, at #2 with an impressive $43 million.

That should be enough to knock last week's winner, Pixar adventure Brave, to third place at about $35 million.

Madea's Witness Protection, the latest offering from director-star Tyler Perry, is on pace for a very strong $27 million fourth-place debut.

After the Top 4, it's a big drop to holdover Madagascar 3, which should earn roughly $14 million for the #5 spot.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter should do about $6.5 million in business for sixth place.

According to projections, a quartet of movies are closely bunched in the neighborhood of $4 to $5 million: Prometheus, People Like Us, Moonrise Kingdom and Snow White and the Huntsman.

The overall Top 10 order remains to be seen.

Adam Levine and the rest of Maroon 5 took over the 'Today' plaza on Friday for an energetic, crowd-pleasing performance as part of the morning show's summer concert series.

The band, which released its album Overexposed on Tuesday, performed its single 'Payphone,' as well older hits 'Moves Like Jagger' and 'Harder to Breathe.'

Mila Kunis has a confession: She loves online dating sites!

The Ted star makes the admission in Glamour's August issue, revealing that she frequently uses sites like OkCupid ' to set up her friends.

'It's online shopping! We all get together with our laptops and have a glass of wine. Then we message the guy,' she explains.

Kunis confirms there are unsuspecting bachelors out there 'who have had conversations with me on OkCupid, to be exact,' adding, 'They had no clue.'

But would the actress ever put up her own profile?

She tells the magazine, 'If I didn't do what I do, I would do Internet dating instead of going out to bars. In two seconds I would. It makes so much more sense.'

The problem, Kunis says, is that she's 'not in one state long enough.'

'I've never dated,' she insists. 'I can say this honestly: I don't know what it's like to date.'
