Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj have officially signed on as new 'American Idol' judges for next season.
Minaj and the country singer, who recently left his gig on the Australian edition of 'The Voice,' join fellow mentors Mariah Carey and Randy Jackson on the singing competition.
Fox made the announcement on Sunday morning when all four judges are set to appear at auditions in New York.
'Idol' producer Simon Fuller said, 'With the exciting addition of Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj, alongside Randy Jackson, American Idol's star power has never been so great.'

It's official. I am not watching this. Mariah is a has been (seen some record sells recently?), Niki is a no talent, flash in the pan (you are going to judge ME? I can sing circles around you), and Randy Jackson is, well Randy. Keith Urban, no idea. Know the name, not his music. I think of the 4, he was the best choice. Bye Bye Idol. Enjoy your last season.
