Jason Sudeikis is coming back to 'Saturday Night Live.'
NBC has confirmed that the veteran 'SNL' performer will indeed return for the show's new season, following a summer in which his future seemed uncertain after the departures of Andy Samberg and Kristen Wiig.
Sudeikis plays 'Mitt Romney' on the show, making him somewhat indispensable this election season.

'SNL' creator and executive producer Lorne Michaels has indicated that Sudeikis will be around at least until January, with his status after that undetermined.
Seth MacFarlane will host the 38th season premiere of 'Saturday Night Live' this weekend.
