The Dark Knight Rises Wins Weekend Over The Watch and Step Up Revolution

Ice Age 4 Step Up Revolution The Dark Knight Rises The Watch

The Dark Knight Rises won its second straight weekend at the box office.

Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale's Batman trilogy finale earned $65 million, giving it an easy victory over the Ben Stiller-led ensemble alien invasion comedy The Watch, which came in second with a $13.4 million debut.

Holdover animated flick Ice Age 4 secured third with $13.2 million.

The newly released dance spectacle Step Up Revolution and Ted came in fourth and fifth places with $11.7 million and $7.4 million, respectively.

Rounding out the Top 10 were The Amazing Spider-Man ($7 million ), Brave ($3.7 million), Magic Mike ($2.2 million), Savages ($1.5 million), and Madea's Witness Protection ($1.2 million).
