Madonna was booed at her New Orleans concert on Saturday, and not for some of the usual antics on her 'MDNA Tour.'
The singer was heckled when she asked, 'Who's registered to vote?' followed by 'I don't care who you vote for as long as you vote for Obama.'
That prompted several concertgoers to boo Madonna as well as to walk out of her concert.

She quickly tried to recover by adding, 'Seriously, I don't care who you vote for' Do not take this privilege for granted. Go vote.'

John Lennon was political and brave. Madonna obviously backed down after the boos and walk outs. If you are going to be an entertainer and political-then stand your ground. Don't whimp out.

Who a person votes for is a personal choice. I'm betting half the celebrities that back a candidate don't even have a clear understanding of their platforms. I agree with Kyle4. The fans paid for a ticket to see her perform ' not for advice on who SHE thinks they should vote for.

I heard she got booed in France for the same reason, blabbering on about politics during a show instead of performing. No one cares Madonna. Your political views are NOT relevant and if you want to spout them at a concert, then do it at a FREE concert you put on, not one where your fans have paid tons of money to watch you sashay your aging ass all over the place.
