The spots, in which Kutcher portrays a variety of over-the-top 'suitors,' includes a bit in which he dons dark makeup and uses a heavy accent as 'Raj.'

When the clip hit the Internet, there was immediate outcry over the appropriateness of Kutcher's ethnic spoof.

Now the chip company has apologized and scrubbed the offending video from its campaign.

On the PopChips official site, founder Keith Belling wrote, 'We received a lot feedback about the dating campaign parody we launched today and appreciate everyone who took the time to share their point of view.'

He continued, 'Our team worked hard to create a light-hearted parody featuring a variety of characters that was meant to provide a few laughs. we did not intend to offend anyone. i take full responsibility and apologize to anyone we offended.'

So far, there's been no response from Kutcher.
